סיכום הדף היומי — Menachos 16

התרגום עדיין אינו זמין. הסיכום באנגלית מופיע להלן.

Menachos 16 – Good Morning Raboisai Kemitzah and Levonah – Two Matirim, One Heter A Minchah consists of: • Kemitzah – the Kohen takes a fistful of flour • Levonah – frankincense added to most Menachos To permit eating the shirayim (remaining flour): • Both the kemitzah and the levonah must be burned on the ַ מִזְבֵּח • Each one alone is only 50% of the matir This creates the core question of the daf: Can pigul be created with intent on part of the matir, or only the whole? Machlokes: Chatzi Matir vs Matir Shalem Rabbi Meir : • Chatzi matir works • Pigul intent on one of the two (kemitzah or levonah) is enough Chachamim : • Must be matir shalem • Pigul only if intent applies to both This applies specifically to haktarah (burning on the mizbeach), where both are involved. Kemitzah Itself – Full Avodah Critical chiddush: • During kemitzah , there is no levonah involved • Kemitzah is a standalone avodah Therefore: • Pigul intent during kemitzah alone is full pigul • Eating the Minchah incurs karet This is agreed upon by all. Minchas Chotei – No Levonah at All A Minchas Chotei : • Has no levonah • Only kemitzah exists Result: • Pigul intent on kemitzah = complete pigul • No concept of “half” here This reinforces that the two - matir requirement is contextual, not universal. Two Lambs of Shavuos – Parallel Case To permit eating the Shtei HaLechem : • Two lambs are brought • Each lamb is 50% of the matir Case: • Pigul intent during shechitah of one lamb Rabbi Meir : • Works (chatzi matir) Chachamim : • Does not work (need both) Important Distinction – Pigul on the Lamb Itself If intent was: • To eat the lamb itself out of time Then: • Each lamb is its own matir • Pigul on one lamb affects only that lamb • The other lamb remains valid Key rule: Ein matir mifagel matir One matir cannot create pigul for another matir Order of Machshavah – When Does It Carry Forward? Rav introduces a rule: • If a bad machshavah appears first , it carries forward • If it appears later , after a valid stage, it may not But this only works: • When one person performs all stages • Not when actions are split between people Yom Kippur Blood Sprinklings – A Challenge On Yom Kippur: • Multiple blood applications (Kodesh HaKodashim, Heichal, Mizbeach) Question: • Why doesn’t a pigul thought at the start automatically spread? Answer: • If blood became invalid, it is considered like water • Any further sprinkling is meaningless • Yet pigul requires completion of the process This leads to a major clarification. Rav’s Yesod – Pigul Blood Remains Blood Rav explains: • Pigul does not remove halachic identity • Blood remains blood for pigul purposes • Continued avodah completes the pigul process Thus: • One can create pigul early, • And still complete the avodah afterward Hailachah – Walking with the Minchah Machlokes: • Is hailachah (walking) like kemitzah or like haktarah? Rabbi Yochanan : • Hailachah is like kemitzah • Pigul can occur with flour alone Reish Lakish : • Hailachah is like haktarah • Requires both flour and levonah Resolution – What Kind of Walking? Key distinction: • Walking to the mizbeach → involves both → like haktarah • Walking to fetch a kli → only flour involved → like kemitzah Thus: • Pigul can apply to flour alone when levonah is not part of that stage Creating Kedushah vs Permitting Eating Final principle: • Any avodah that creates kedushah requires completeness • Partial action is insufficient Examples: • Shechitah creates kedushah in blood • Requires both simanim • Therefore treated as a matir - like action Takeaway – Menachos 16 • Pigul depends on function , not form • If an avodah: o Permits eating → requires full matir o Stands alone → pigul can occur within it • Kemitzah and certain forms of hailachah are independent • Haktarah and actions involving multiple components are not • Understanding what an avodah accomplishes defines pigul ַ לעילויַנשמתַאמיַמורתיַרותַבתַהרבַמנחםַמנדל
